JULY 14th -  KINGS PARK, 198 Kings Dr.

This 3.5-km loop trail in Kings Park is considered an easy route, it takes an average of 39 min to complete. The path is mostly paved with some dirt sections and it follows through some forested sections, along the river and through open areas and over a couple of foot bridges.

There is a walking labyrinth along the way where we can pause for those that would like to walk it.

The three stages of walking a labyrinth are Releasing, Receiving, and Returning.

1. Releasing: As you walk into the labyrinth, you are encouraged to release thoughts and concerns, allowing yourself to quiet your mind and open your heart.
2. Receiving: When you reach the center, you are invited to stay there for as long as you wish, meditating and receiving any insights or messages.
3. Returning: As you walk back out of the labyrinth, you are encouraged to integrate what you've received and return to your daily life with renewed awareness.

AUGUST 11th -  CRESCENT DRIVE PARK, 198 Kings Dr.

Experience this 2.9-km loop trail at Crescent Park. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 33 min to complete. Crescent Drive Park Trail follows a mostly wood-chipped trail with numerous benches throughout overlooking the Red River. The eastern sections of this loop are generally the more pleasant hike, since you will be alongside the river. The rest of the loop follows forest trails that sometimes border fencing.
